\n\tThe best children\u2019s album Grammy went to Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band\u2019s Brillo, Brillo!<\/em> at the Recording Academy\u2019s 2025 awards<\/a> ceremony on Sunday (Feb. 2).<\/p>\n

\n\tThey\u2019ve previously been honored with two awards at the Latin<\/a> Grammy Awards, but it\u2019s the band\u2019s first win at the Grammy Awards, the Grammys<\/a> ceremony that encompasses a wider range of genres. Sunday\u2019s win at the 2025 Grammys comes after accumulating a total of three nominations in the best children\u2019s music album category throughout their career. (Of their latest nomination, in November they told Billboard Family<\/a><\/em>, \u201cThis is an honor we don\u2019t take lightly, even though children\u2019s music is full of silly joy and delight!\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\tLucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band\u2019s win for Brillo, Brillo!<\/em> was announced along with a number of other awards during the 67th annual Grammy Awards\u00a0Premiere Ceremony\u00a0on Sunday, which aired online ahead of the televised part of the 2025 Grammys. The Premiere Ceremony streamed on the Recording Academy\u2019s YouTube channel and on\u00a0live.GRAMMY.com<\/a>, while CBS will broadcast its portion of the show from Los Angeles\u2019 Crypto.com Arena at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOur record represents us and this time of great division,\u201d said Lucky Diaz, who creates music with Alisha Gaddis, his wife, in their acceptance speech. \u201cWe must come together, and this is what music is really at the core of \u2014 this city is built on dreams, dreamers and immigrants.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDiaz shared that the night of Feb. 2 was particularly special when he added, \u201cMy beautiful wife and partner for 16 years \u2014 this is our anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThey gave a shoutout to \u201call the beautiful people that make music for children. It\u2019s such an important vocation and craft.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the talented musicians in the family music space are fellow 2025 best children\u2019s album nominees<\/a> Divinity Roxx and Divi Roxx Kids (World Wide Playdate<\/em>), Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats (Creciendo<\/em>), John Legend (My Favorite Dream<\/em>) and Rock for Children (Solid Rock Revival<\/em>).<\/p>\n
