\n\tIs Ye<\/a> finally looking to move past his troubled history with Taylor Swift<\/a>?<\/p>\n \n\tOn Sunday (Feb. 2), just hours before the 67th annual Grammy Awards, the rapper and fashion mogul \u2014 formerly known as Kanye West \u2014 raised eyebrows regarding his relationship with the pop<\/a> superstar, posting a cryptic message on his Instagram Story<\/a> to reveal that he was now following only one person on the platform: Swift.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201c1 following,\u201d Ye, 47, posted to his 20.6 million followers, sharing a screenshot of his Instagram<\/a> page. The next post showed Swift, 35, as the lone person he follows.<\/p>\n \n\tAs of Saturday night, Ye had unfollowed everyone \u2014 including his wife, Bianca Censori \u2014 except for Swift, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tIn addition to Swift, Ye also posted about his recent Grammy nomination<\/a> for \u201cCarnival,\u201d his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, which is nominated for best rap song at this year\u2019s ceremony. The track, also featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, hit No. 1<\/a> on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last March.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThank you to the Grammies for nominating Carnival,\u201d Ye wrote on IG<\/a> alongside a photo of a Grammy trophy. The image tagged the likes of Swift, Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti, Rich the Kid and the Recording Academy.<\/p>\n \n\tIt\u2019s still unclear whether Ye will attend the ceremony, which is set to air live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Swift and Beyonc\u00e9, both of whom are nominated for album of the year, are expected to be there<\/a>. Bey leads the nominations with 11, while Swift has six, including her nod for The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>, alongside Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Cowboy Carter<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tYe and Swift\u2019s relationship has been one of the most notorious feuds<\/a> in the music industry. It all began in 2009 when Ye interrupted Swift\u2019s VMA acceptance speech to declare that Beyonc\u00e9 deserved the best female video award instead. Though the two eventually reconciled, their tension reignited when Ye claimed in his 2016 track \u201cFamous\u201d that the incident helped launch Swift\u2019s career.<\/p>\n \n\tWhen Swift slammed Ye for the song, he claimed that he got the \u201cKarma\u201d singer\u2019s blessing on a phone call before its release, which she denied. After that, his then-wife Kim Kardashian posted an edited recording of their conversation to portray Swift as a liar. Later, though, leaked audio revealed<\/a> that Ye had not in fact sought her blessing for all of the lyrics about her in the song, in particular never mentioning to her the line: \u201cI made that b\u2014- famous.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYou have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar,\u201d Swift told TIME<\/a><\/em> in her Person of the Year cover story in December 2023. \u201cThat took me down psychologically to a place I\u2019ve never been before.
